THE EN RANGE
This range of kilns are designed specifically for enameling and jewellery, and also fully capable of running glass fusing cycles. The EN range started way back in the 1980s and have been so successful and reliable that changes to them have been minimal.
The major difference between the EN range and other enamelling kilns is that the EN range has full access to it's elements meaning that when elements require changing, it is an easy job that does not remove the major job and expense on replacing the interior muffle.

Moreover, the EN range now comes with the KCR32C controller! The KCR32C is multi-program controller designed for glass, ceramics & pottery use, allowing for more complex firings than what would be possible with the regulators from the old models.
And of course with the KCR32C comes the choice of Wi-Fi!

The KCR32C is multi-program controller designed for glass, ceramics & pottery use. It is targeted towards glass use with 32 programs each of up to 32 segments. Each segment is a controlled heating/cooling ramp followed by a soak. It is supplied pre-programmed with 9 typical glass programs and 9 typical ceramics programs (which can be over-written).
The slow rate capability of the KCR32C, down to 1c per hour, makes it the perfect controller for complicated glass cycles.
KCR32C Controller features:

-
32 programs - each with up to 32 segments.
-
Each segment is a controlled heating/cooling ramp soak.
-
Suitable for glass or ceramics use.

KCR32C WIFI Controller (Optional)

The KCR32CWIFi is internally the same as the KCR32C but has the capability to be accessed
and controlled remotely from your mobile device.
This is one of the most important advances in Kilncare kilns for many years.
Using Kilncares GATEway access site you can view how your kiln is running in real time. Stop the
firing or adjust programs all without even being in the same country let alone the same room.
The KCR32WIFI is also fitted with a USB port that allows programs to be entered that way direct from PC if required and also allows us to apply updates and run diagnostics without travelling to your kiln.
Internet access to view real time status and access data

The optional KCR32C WIFI allows the user to access the kiln in real time from anywhere with internet access via the Kilncare GATEway on our website. The benefits of this are obvious as there is no longer the need to travel to the studio or work place to see how the firing is proceeding or if indeed the firing is going as planned.
Also in the GATEway, which is unique to each user via password access, there is a firings library where past firings can be stored and named, a notes section and a log amongst other features.

13A Plug-in supply
The EN kilns come with a standard 13A plug and lead, allowing for you to simply plug it into the wall and get firing without having to worry about getting the kiln hardwired in! This also makes relocation a lot easier as you will just need to make sure that wherever it is going to has a socket.
Kanthal A1 elements
The EN range, along with the vast majority of Kilncare kilns, utilises Kanthal A1 elements (which are widely regarded as the best quality elements available), ensuring unbeatable reliability and durability.
Non ceramic fibre door
This method of insulation provides the kiln with a highly insulated door, thus keeping the heat in and keeping those firing costs down. The fibre will also sink into shape around the chamber's bricks once closed, creating a much more secure seal than your average brick-to-brick seal on similar kilns.
Fast Response Thermocouple.

The KCR32C gets its data from an ultra-fast response, stainless steel thermocouple meaning no lag between the kiln temperature and the KCR32Cs control.
The fact that the thermocouple is stainless steel means it is also resilient to accidental damage.
Easy to replace elements.

The major difference between the EN range and other enameling kilns is that the EN range has full access to it's elements meaning that when elements require changing, it is an easy job that removes the major job and expense on replacing the interior muffle.
In the event of a accident inside the kiln during firing resulting in the kiln floor been damaged, again, this can be replaced by simply pulling out the damaged floor bricks and replacing them and again, without having to replace the entire interior of the kiln.
High insulation brick chamber

The kiln chamber is made with very low thermo-conductive bricks, ensuring low thermal loss, lower case temperature, and a fast journey to your required firing temperature.
Over-fire and door switch safety
Each EN has a door safety cut off switch, connecting/disconnecting both live and neutral cables along with a relay door cut off circuit, which also acts as an over fire protection circuit. As well as this, there is also an extra control relay, which in combination with the over fire relay and door safety switch makes the kiln extremely safe.
Optional GATEway app and Wi-Fi capability

The optional KCR32C WIFI allows the user to access the kiln in real time from anywhere through the GATEway mobile device app for Android or Apple, or anywhere with internet access via the Kilncare GATEway on our website.
